Core Areas

Clover Organic works across interconnected domains within agriculture, water systems, and rural livelihoods, recognising that sustainable impact is rarely achieved in isolation. Our core areas reflect a systems-based approach, where farming, natural resource management, and market linkages are designed together to create resilient and economically viable outcomes. Underpinning all our work is a focus on biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration to ensure that every intervention strengthens ecological balance while delivering long-term economic value.

Sustainable Agriculture Systems

Clover Organic offers comprehensive consulting services in sustainable and organic agriculture systems, supporting governments, institutions, and development agencies in developing resilient farming models. Our work integrates soil health management, crop planning, nutrient management, and climate-adaptive practices to improve productivity while preserving ecological balance.

We respect local traditions of a region and strive to incorporate them into our project design and practices. We thus develop region-specific Packages of Practices (PoPs) that lead to better acceptability by the farmers.

We specialise in large-scale organic transitions and integrated farming systems. Through our structured approach, including The Clover Method, we enable scalable, economically viable, and environmentally sustainable agricultural ecosystems.

Water Conservation & Treatment Systems

Clover Organic works to improve water quality and efficiency across both natural and built systems, recognising that water is an increasingly scarce and critical resource for livelihoods, ecosystems, and long-term sustainability. Our interventions focus on restoring degraded water bodies such as lakes and drainage systems, while also strengthening wastewater treatment performance in industrial and institutional settings.

We support the enhancement of ETP (Effluent Treatment Plants) and STP (Sewage Treatment Plants) through the use of biological inputs that improve treatment efficiency, reduce chemical dependency, and optimise system performance.

Alongside this, we manufacture and provide specialised biological inputs for water systems through our sister concern Biomatix, enabling practical, scalable solutions for long-term water management.

Aquaculture Systems

Clover Organic supports the development of sustainable aquaculture systems tailored to regional ecological conditions. Our fish farming consultancy focuses on integrated models that combine aquaculture with agriculture, improving water use efficiency and overall farm productivity.

We assist in system design, species selection, water quality management, and integration with broader livelihood systems. Our approach ensures that aquaculture interventions are environmentally responsible, economically viable, and aligned with long-term rural development goals.

We provide eco-friendly, CAA-certified organic inputs tailored for aquaculture. These include water treatment solutions, natural feed supplements, and probiotics that improve fish and prawn health, enhance productivity, and reduce environmental impact. Our inputs are designed to support sustainable aquaculture practices while ensuring compliance with international organic standards.

Solid Waste Management

Clover Organic supports the design and implementation of decentralised solid waste management systems that are environmentally sustainable and economically viable. Our approach is rooted in the principle that organic waste should be returned to the soil to close nutrient loops while reducing environmental impact.

To do this, all organic waste (Municipal and Industrial) must be processed in a manner that:

  1. Does not pollute the area through mismanagement of leachate and the rise of vector-borne diseases.

  2. The compost meets CPCB and Department of Agriculture norms.

  3. The composting process occurs in the most cost-effective manner.

  4. There is suppression of foul odour emanating from the compost site.

We focus on scientific composting systems that ensure efficient processing of organic waste without secondary pollution. This includes designing composting facilities, developing standard operating procedures (SoPs), and deploying biological inputs that enable faster decomposition, odour control, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Agri-Tourism & Rural Livelihoods

Clover Organic designs and supports agri-tourism initiatives that create additional income streams for farming communities while promoting awareness of sustainable agriculture. We work with institutions and rural enterprises to develop farm-based tourism models that are culturally rooted and economically viable.

Our services include concept development, infrastructure planning, capacity building, and market positioning. By linking agriculture with experiential tourism, we enable rural communities to diversify livelihoods and build stronger connections between consumers and farming systems.

Livestock & Allied Farming Systems

Our livestock consulting services focus on integrating dairy, poultry, and animal husbandry into sustainable farming systems to enhance farmer incomes and resource efficiency. Clover Organic works with public and private stakeholders to design livestock models that complement crop systems and improve circularity within farms.

We provide technical advisory on breed management, nutrition, housing systems, and waste-to-resource approaches, ensuring alignment with organic and low-input farming principles. Our interventions strengthen livelihood diversification while promoting sustainable and ethical animal husbandry practices.
